Amory & Michael | Manteo, North Carolina

Amory and Michael’s autumn Manteo wedding was a stunning celebration of love and friendship — grown over time in a close-knit beach community.

From start to finish, the couple’s plans for their wedding day were a true reflection of what was most important to the two of them. Their venue, 108 Budleigh, is a beautiful historic building tucked into the small town of Manteo and was the perfect choice for their intimate celebration.

The ceremony took place in a small garden, adjacent to 108 Budleigh where the couple exchanged the most meaningful vows, surrounded by their family and friends. Two of their close friends officiated, which was such a beautiful touch.

Afterwards, the couple joined cocktail hour for a bit, followed by the most relaxed and untraditional family photos (requested by the bride!) Next, we walked towards the Manteo waterfront for some sunset portraits near the Roanoke Inn— such a special spot on boardwalks through the marshes.

Here is their wedding day story—
